Championship Links - 2010
Visitor Playing Days
We welcome men and women to the Championship Links on Mondays (am and pm), Tuesdays (am and pm), Thursdays(am), Fridays (am and pm) and Sundays (pm). The links will be closed to visitors on 5th April and 11th to 16th July 2010. Please make all bookings through the Secretary's Office.
Choice of Tees
The following options are available from May until mid October:
- Blue (Championship) Tees 7204 yards. The Blue Tees require carries of 250 yards and are available to male golfers with handicaps 5 or better.
- White (Medal) Tees 6902 yards. The White Tees require carries of over 200yards and are available to male golfers with handicaps 9 or better.
- Yellow (Stableford) Tees 6696 yards. The Yellow Tees are used by the majority of male golfers and requires carries of 175 yards. Female golfers with a handicap of 4 or better may also play from these tees.
- Red Tees 6261 yards. The Red Tees are used by the vast majority of female golfers and by some senior male golfers.
We hope that these options will enhance the playing experience of visitors. Please note that the Course Marshal has the authority to ask players to move to easier tees if their position on the links is not being maintained.
Green Fees
To February: £50 per round. March £75 per round. April £100 per round.
May to October: Weekdays £160 per round am / £145 per round pm. Sunday pm £180 per round. Two rounds in one day £250.
Concessionary rates are available throughout the summer to golfers who are members of The GUI (Ulster Branch). Contact the Secretary’s Office for details.

Dress Code
Players are expected to wear an acceptable standard of dress. Please see Standard of Dress for Men or Standard of Dress for Ladies
Caddies
The caddie fees per round are £35 (Senior), £25 (Standard) and £15 (Junior). The Championship Links is challenging with several blind drives. We recommend you consider taking a caddie to enhance your enjoyment of the round.
BuggiesThe terrain of the links is such that buggies are not permitted. Caddies are available - see above.
Equipment Hire
The following are available from the Pro Shop. Please indicate your requirements when requesting a tee time.
Clubs
The Pro Shop has a wide selection of current models which are available for hire. Our professional, Kevan Whitson, will profile your hire set as closely as possible to your own clubs.

Shoes
Footjoy AQL shoes, as new. Cost per round: £5
Powakaddy electronic walk behind trolleys. Cost per round: £15
Pull Carts, brand new fleet. Cost per round: £4
