Dundrum Bay awaits the errant drive to the right, and a high dune guards the
left. The sensible tee shot lands down the right side, collecting the contours
of the fairway to finish left centre. The big hitter can take the left centre
line. Carrying the ball a bit further reaches the down slope, which gains a
shoot forward. This leaves a medium iron to a long narrow green. The shorter
hitter has to negotiate well-placed bunkers to get into the 100yd zone. Looking
from the front, the green falls from right to left, except for a strip some
10-feet wide on the left edge which rises and therefore has the opposite borrow.
Three putts are common when the pin position nears the back.
