A blind tee shot over the
marker leads to a sweeping dog-leg right with the fairway running off to the
left. The ideal shot is a fade, keeping the ball on the fairway and setting up
the second shot. The bale-out from the tee is to the left, where semi-rough can
provide an opportunity to reach the green. The majority of the fairway bunkers
do not come into play for the strong player. A feature of the hole is the dead
ground short of the green. The front is protected by two greenside bunkers and
two humps on the first quarter of the green. The green itself slopes from front
to back.
