A
birdie is on offer to the stronger player, but the tee shot must find the
generous fairway that runs towards the top of the slope. Hooked shots may be
swallowed up by the cavernous bunker laying in wait in the left rough. This
bunker demands escape rather than much distance gain. Likewise, there is a
cleverly placed bunker in the edge of the right rough, 230 yards from the tee.
The green can be reached by the longer drivers, but demands great accuracy,
bypassing the two bunkers to a narrow, long green, which falls off in all
directions. The green is very flat with a slight rise from front to back.
