A wide fairway welcomes
an uphill tee shot that must carry the white marker stone, which is the target
line to open up the second shot from the short of the shoulder. This provides
the best route in. From the left-hand side of the fairway you look directly down
the throat of the green, which is in the mould of an upturned saucer, falling
away quickly on both sides. Like so many holes here, short on line is safe.
Wayward shots are costly.
