Hole 16

Par 4

Championship (yards): 337
Medal (yards): 317
Stableford (yards): 298
Ladies (yards): 255

Like all great match play holes this short par 4 asks the question.  A tee shot played with safety in mind aims for the left centre of the fairway taking care to stop short of the bunker facing you. This leaves a difficult, if not long, pitch over the corner of the greenside bunker to a smallish green running from front to back. The long hitter can take on the green in favourable conditions but drift to the right at your peril, large and well placed bunkers await the errant tee shot.  Admire the view.
