The view from the tee that spans the horizon must be among the most breathtaking and yet tranquil in the world of golf. The questions that are asked are many – a sea of gorse from the tee, then a multitude of bunkers. The green itself is long and narrow, rising slightly from front to back with large drop-offs either side and to the rear. The pitch shots around this green are varied and difficult, except from the safe haven at the front of the green. Once again, putts running from front to back will move towards the sea.
