The green is protected by a deep soft-sanded bunker at the front, several small pot bunkers to the rear and a large gathering one to the left. The target area on the green is the front right hand quarter and you need to stop it quickly. Anything turning or indeed bouncing to the left will be swallowed up by the bunker left, quickly running off the steep slope. Likewise, there is a drop-off the back right for any shot hit too long. Under clubbing to the right and short can see the next shot being played from the 13^th tee. To miss this green in any position means trouble.
