One of the most
photographed holes in world golf. A blind tee shot needs to hug the large dune
on the left of the fairway to set up the best approach to the green. There is no
room for error in the left as any shot drifting too far will be lost in a dense
gorse covered dune. There’s more room to the right for the shorter hitter,
although it’s not the best line for the second shot. There are two well-placed
bunkers, some 50 yards short of the green, level with a large mound on the right
of the green. Look out for a greenside bunker and two deep pots on the left.
This is one of the more undulating greens.
